First Easter

Our precious girl's first Easter.

It Was A Great Day

Liberty celebrated Easter today with family. We all attended church and then gathered afterwards for lunch at grandma and grandpa's house. Both cousins enjoyed finding ways to amuse Libby and make her laugh while grandpa showed off his new hat. Not old enough yet for the egg hunt, Liberty left that to Sammy. It was a great day!

Holding Our Attention

Here's Libby holding a favorite toy, holding herself up on the blanket, holding onto her bath towel, and being held by mommy. With whatever she does, we find her holding our attention.

Rolling Right Along

Two days ago Liberty rolled from her stomach to her back. Today she rolled from her back to her stomach a few times. The looks of determination on her face to roll over are as fun to watch as the looks of wonder she expresses after actually succeeding to do so. That momentary pause when she realizes her success is such a precious sight. Liberty is rolling right along.

Baby Sits

Baby sits here and there. On a couch or in a chair. Matters not going where. Baby sits without a care. Baby sits everywhere.

Daily Grind

Liberty has grown accustom to her daily routine - nap, play, eat, and sleep. That kind of daily grind takes a lot out of our little baby.

Be Ignored

Liberty visited with Lance and shared some time on the blanket once again. Poor guy... there he is napping and minding his own business when all of a sudden Liberty hits him in the head. He's learning early that women don't like to be ignored.

Enough Is Enough

As you can tell, we like to take lots of pics of our baby. Sometimes though, I think she just feels like enough is enough.

Afternoon Visit

Grandma and grandpa come over for an afternoon visit.

Little Advances

Liberty is learning to sit upright - with the help of her new Bumbo chair - and to grasp objects within her reach. She seems to make little advances every week which are exciting for us to witness.

Bowhead

Mommy found the perfect bows for our little baby. Liberty is now officially a bowhead and she just loves the attention it brings her, although you can't always tell it from her varied expressions.
