Great Fellowship

Jodie and I ate dinner tonight at i Fratelli's with the Elms and Moons. (Tommy, Sue, and Catie are in town visiting and getting ready to send Catie to college at A&M in a few weeks.) We shared a lot of laughs over pizza while catching up with one another. To keep the conversations going, we all headed over to the Elms' house. Then the evening ended with a drive to Union Station after we missed the last DART train out of Irving. (We should let Norman know that those schedules are updated from time to time... and year to year!)

It was really good to see everybody and just hang out together again. Danny and Judy described their trip to Checkoslovakia, Tommy and Sue talked about their life in Puebla, Catie told us of her current interests, and Holly shared a few anecdotes about her dogs. We didn't see any Far Sides, but The Three Stooges entered our conversation at one point along with lines from The Holy Grail and O Brother, Where Art Thou. The mood was relaxed and casual as we spent all night just talking. It was simply good food, good friends, and great fellowship.

I can't wait until the next time.
